Editorial: At the time I had this image in my head I thought it was an exaggerated visualisation of claims companies. Little was I to know that some firms would not just be returning zero cash to their injured clients but were actually putting them into debt! People with whiplash injuries ending up owing their solicitors thousands of pounds is just twisted. Luckily, some insurance companies finally got the stones to question why a client needed a £2000 legal insurance policy for an injury worth £1500 and the scam seems to have collapsed nicely ... no thanks to the government who didn't step in until four years later when the problem was already over ... †
