Editorial: This cartoon was drawn up before the government displayed their actual compensation bill plans. I expected it to be a heavy handed approach that would infringe on the rights of actual victims and play into the hands of large corporations, protecting them from being sued for most things. I was wrong. The bill does nothing for anyone except put over a million quid into the government's pockets and give a whole bunch of civil servants employment. †
