Editorial: Which crime prevention is more important? The crimes criminals commit against innocent people, or crimes committed against criminals? Seems that the law wants to treat every individual as though they have equal rights (unless you might be a terrorist or course) which means that if you seriously injure someone who has broken into your own home you could be prosecuted. If the police injure someone whilst taking them into custody they could be sued. †
