Editorial: I was five years into this before my first child was born. Till that point I'd sympathised with whiplash victims and consoled those that had slipped on wet floors. After watching 14 hours of my wife in labour they can all go to hell, the bunch of wimps. Our priorities seem completely warped in this country, we reward people who don't watch where they're going but the people who give birth to the next generation get nothing, the police get no extra consideration for accidents at work and the relief packages for injured soldiers are a disgrace. The people who suffer for our sake are rewarded less than the idiots in our society, doesn't that bother anyone else? †
